Although rye is most commonly seen in Valais rye bread AOP, this cereal is also used in many other sweet and savoury products, including crisps, breadstick “flûtes”, chocolate-coated “pearls” and biscuits. They all have the typical, rustic taste of rye. With Valais-brand certified, rye-based products, consumers are guaranteed that at least 60% of the product is made with rye flour and that any other flour used is produced in Valais.
