Unplugged shows by major international acts and promising young talents. Music in an intimate setting, reduced to its musical essence and against an incomparable mountain backdrop. Plus energetic sets from hip DJs. The Zermatt Unplugged acoustic music festival has become an integral part of the European music scene. The first edition took place in 2007, founded as a singer-songwriter festival by Thomas Sterchi, Marco Godat and Heinz Julen & supported by Anni-Frid from ABBA and Jon Lord from Deep Purple.
